World Premiere at ComplexCon 2026: With the BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION, BRABUS and Fragment Design, the internationally renowned Japanese streetwear and design label founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara, present a new interpretation of the BRABUS URBAN E developed in collaboration with French motorcycle manufacturer DAB Motors.
Limited to just ten units worldwide, the exclusive collector’s edition combines the unmistakable design DNA of BRABUS and the signature aesthetic of Fragment Design with the state-of-the-art electric motorcycle technology of DAB Motors. A consistent black-and-white design concept transforms the BRABUS URBAN E with extraordinary FRAGMENT EDITION details, white carbon-fiber wheel covers, white brake calipers and a bespoke white BRABUS Masterpiece leather rider’s seat.
At the heart of the BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION is the high-performance electric drivetrain developed for the BRABUS URBAN E, presented for the first time at Milan Design Week in April 2026. With an output of 27 kW / 37 hp and maximum torque of 475 Nm (350 lb-ft), it delivers instantaneous power and dynamic acceleration. A 72-volt lithium-ion battery enables a range of up to 150 kilometers (93 miles), while a low-maintenance carbon belt transmits power to the rear wheel. The top speed is 120 km/h (75 mph).
Extending the collaboration beyond the motorcycle itself, BRABUS and Fragment Design have also developed a limited co-branded capsule collection comprising leather gloves, a rider’s jacket and a fleece zip hoodie.
Each BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION is listed at a base price of 45,000 euros in relevant European markets and 50,000 US dollars in North America (net prices excluding applicable taxes).
The BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION brings together three distinct approaches to contemporary design and engineering. Based on the BRABUS URBAN E, first unveiled during Milan Design Week 2026, the strictly limited electric motorcycle combines the technical foundation developed by DAB Motors with the signature high-performance design philosophy of BRABUS (Brabus-Allee, 46240 Bottrop, Germany, Tel. +49 (0) 2041 777-0, www.brabus.com) and the unmistakable creative direction of Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fragment Design. Jointly developed as a collector’s edition limited to just ten units worldwide, it is defined by a clear identity that reflects the unique character of all three brands.
“Designing luxury products, you have to touch people's hearts within a second of people seeing them. Otherwise, we're not standing a chance,” explains Constantin Buschmann, CEO and owner of BRABUS. “I love to engage with other designers, especially if they're trailblazers like Hiroshi is. He's going to bring something to the table that we never thought of, and we're going to bring something to the table that he never thought of.”
“Collaboration is a way to make what I want, or what I would like to use. It has to make sense, and everything I design is personal,” says Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of Fragment Design and one of the most influential figures in Japanese streetwear. “I never design thinking about what the market wants. When I was in Milan during Salone, I just came across the BRABUS E-Bike on the street. I simply thought the design was beautiful. BRABUS takes something that already exists and pushes it somewhere else. I think Fragment works in a similar way.”

He loved the bike, and that naturally led us to imagine what a Fragment motorcycle could be. Every detail was considered, from the painted carbon components to the bespoke crystal-clear rear light featuring the Fragment logo and the white BRABUS seat. The result brings together Fragment’s understated aesthetic, BRABUS’ identity, and DAB’s iconic design in a completely unique motorcycle.”
The BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION celebrates its world premiere at ComplexCon 2026. Bringing together leading voices from the worlds of style, sneakers, music, art and innovation, ComplexCon has established itself as a global platform for contemporary culture, exclusive releases and creative collaboration. Returning to Los Angeles for its tenth anniversary on October 3 and 4, 2026, the event provides a natural stage for BRABUS, Fragment Design and DAB Motors to present their strictly limited collaborative motorcycle and accompanying capsule collection to an international audience.
The design of the BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION is defined by a striking, consistent black-and-white aesthetic. Black bodywork and bespoke exposed carbon-fiber elements form the foundation of the motorcycle’s bold, athletic appearance, while contrasting details such as the carbon-fiber wheel covers, brake calipers and the BRABUS Masterpiece rider’s seat introduce a distinctive visual signature inspired by Fragment Design’s typically minimalist design language.
The motorcycle’s side profile is shaped by the monocoque-style BRABUS “tank”/seat fairing. Integrated scoops on the left and right incorporate vertical daytime running lights, while the exclusive BRABUS cover for the front section of the frame and exposed carbon-fiber side panels further emphasizes the clean, technical look. A storage compartment integrated in front of the rider’s seat provides space for the included charging cable.
The black front mask features an illuminated BRABUS logo framed in exposed carbon fiber and accommodates the 220-volt charging port. Directly below, a projector headlamp with lens optics provides powerful illumination of the road ahead. The Supermoto-style handlebar not only features controls with integrated turn signals but is also complemented by CNC-machined aluminum levers and brake fluid reservoirs, highlighting the meticulous attention to detail evident throughout the design. Additional exposed carbon-fiber elements include the front fender, rear wheel arch cover, belly pan, side engine cover and rear winglets.
Another defining element of the new FRAGMENT EDITION is the tailor-made BRABUS Masterpiece rider’s seat. Upholstered in high-grade white leather and featuring the German luxury brand’s characteristic “Shell” pattern quilting, it underscores the deliberate contrast to the predominantly black bodywork. A translucent monoblock LED taillight beneath the seat incorporates the Fragment Design logo directly into its lighting architecture.
Specially programmed engine management optimizes throttle response, allowing the rider to access the available power with exceptional immediacy. A dedicated inverter ensures increased current flow for faster and more powerful delivery under load, optimizing both peak output and the torque curve.
The electric drivetrain produces 27 kW / 37 hp and 475 Nm (350 lb-ft) of maximum torque. To ensure consistent performance even at high temperatures and during continuous operation, the electric motor receives additional cooling air through custom carbon-fiber air ducts positioned on the left and right.
The integrated charging system allows the battery to be replenished from 50 to 100 percent in approximately 90 minutes using a standard 220-volt household outlet. Charging from 20 to 100 percent takes around three hours, while a complete charge from empty requires approximately three and a half to four hours. A dedicated, custom-fit charging cable is included as standard.
