The Porsche Story
It all started in April 1931 when Ferdinand Porsche (1875-1951) started a consultancy company under the name Porsche. In 1934, Ferdinand starting manufacturing a “people’s car” under Adolf Hitler’s command and 2 years later, the Volkswagen Beetle was born. In 1948, after a series of adventures and milestones, Ferdinand and his son Ferry Porsche (1909-1998) started their car company with the Porsche 356 and that was the beginning of the remarkable history of a legend.
